Hi, my name is Katie Boudreaux!
Welcome! I am a newborn and portrait photographer serving the Northshore area. I have a passion for capturing timeless moments that you and your loved ones will cherish forever. My work allows me to combine my love for photography with the joy of snuggling babies.
Photography wasn’t my initial plan, but the camera found me along my journey. After years of capturing images for various roles, I fell in love with the process and opened my business in 2018. Since first picking up a camera in 2013, I’ve dedicated myself to perfecting my craft, and nothing makes me happier than seeing clients love the photos I take.
I live on a beautiful piece of land just north of Roseland/Amite, where my newborn studio is located amidst lush greenery and rustic backgrounds. While I have preferred locations around Hammond and Ponchatoula, I’m always excited to explore new spots for your session.
Outside of photography, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our families, and our fur babies. I’m also a fan of Disney princess movies, Friends reruns, and holistic living. I look forward to the opportunity to capture your special moments!

Behind the Scenes: Keeping It Relaxed
Client-Centered Approach
At Boudreaux Design Photography, my sessions are all about you! I strive to keep my clients relaxed and happy, whether that means gently rocking your baby to sleep or incorporating toys that match your session's theme. My goal is to capture those genuine smiles and joyful moments that you’ll treasure for years to come.
Embracing Individuality
I believe that kids aren’t meant to sit still and smile on command. During our sessions, I encourage them to be themselves and enjoy the experience. This approach not only makes for more authentic images but also ensures that even the most camera-shy seniors can feel comfortable and relaxed.
Safety and comfort first
For newborn sessions, I invite parents to either watch as I safely pose their baby or take a well-deserved break on my couch or bed. You can rest easy knowing that I am trained in newborn safety and certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED. Your little one is in good hands while you catch up on some much-needed rest!
